In 1836 he recruited his own company, fought heroically at the Battle of San Jacinto under Sam Houston, earned a personal land grant that launched our family cattle operation, built Bryant Station as a frontier stronghold, and then rode as one of the very first Texas Rangers from 1841 to 1845. That same unbreakable bloodline later captured the notorious California outlaw Tiburcio Vásquez as one of Los Angeles’ first constables. This isn’t marketing spin.
