1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon cold water
2 teaspoons cornstarch
3 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Start by preheating your oven to 350 F
Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, water, and cornstarch in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a full boil, and then remove from heat.
In a large bowl, add the eggs and beat until frothy. Gradually incorporate the cooked syrup mixture. Once fully mixed, stir in salt, vanilla, and pecans. Pour the mixture into your pie shell
